Auxiliary Services Inclement Weather Update, January 23-25

In response to the predicted winter storm, here are updates on essential campus service hours and operations.

Dining

Updates will be shared as available on the Hours of Operation page.

What's Open

Limited service hours vary by location. See below for opening/closing time.

Sunday, January 25

  • Southside Dining Hall will operate on normal hours.
  • Ike's Dining Hall will be closed, it will re-open (as staffing levels allow).
  • The Globe and The Spot dining halls will be closed.
  • Retail locations will be closed, it will re-open (as staffing levels allow).

Monday, January 26

  • Southside Dining Hall will operate on normal hours.

Parking

Parking Advisory

Friday, January 23

Use parking decks for storm parking. All surface lots are closed effective 4 pm, Saturday, January 24.

Effective immediately, all residential students must relocate their vehicles to the general permit areas of the Rappahannock, Shenandoah, and Mason Pond parking decks. Surface parking lots will close temporarily beginning at 4 pm on Saturday, January 24. Vehicles not relocated are subject to towing.

Student Centers

Inclement Weather Plan

Student Centers will follow the University’s guidelines and pivot to modified service operation hours.
